Senior UX Designer and Researcher
Gemini Infrastructure is a leading provider of digital solutions for the construction and water management sectors.
Be Part of Building a Strong, Insight-Driven UX Culture
We’re on an exciting journey — expanding our UX capabilities across our product ecosystem — and we’re looking for a Senior UX Designer & Researcher to help us take the next big step.
Gemini Infrastructure is a leading provider of digital solutions for the construction and water management sectors. Comprising two specialized units—Gemini Construction and Gemini Water & Community—we deliver innovative software and services that empower professionals to manage water and wastewater infrastructure and heavy construction projects with precision and efficiency.
Our construction solutions have set the benchmark for over 30 years, offering advanced tools that ensure full control throughout the lifecycle of infrastructure projects. Widely adopted across the Nordic region, our technology supports smarter, safer, and more sustainable construction practices.
In the water domain, Gemini Infrastructure champions the digital transformation of municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater networks. Our tools provide comprehensive insight into system conditions and maintenance needs, enabling municipalities to safeguard water quality and optimize operations for the benefit of public health and environmental resilience.
You’ll join our growing Construction Software team, working closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to create intuitive, powerful tools that help actors in the heavy construction industry, especially within tunneling and large, complex projects, run their projects in the most efficient way.
If you’re the kind of designer who thrives on both craft and culture, who loves combining research-driven insights with hands-on design — and who’s excited to shape the future of UX in a growing SaaS company — we’d love to talk.
What You’ll Do
Lead with Insight
· Plan and conduct user research — from interviews and surveys to field observations and usability tests — to uncover how customers really work.
· Translate research findings into actionable insights that shape product direction and feature priorities.
· Establish scalable UX research methods and promote evidence-based decision-making across the organization.
Design with Purpose
· Create intuitive, elegant user experiences for complex workflows — from wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes.
· Balance usability, visual clarity, and technical feasibility in every design decision.
· Collaborate with Product and Engineering throughout the entire design process, ensuring a seamless handoff and implementation.
· Help evolve our design system to ensure consistency across multiple products and platforms.
Build, Lead, and Inspire
· Be a core UX leader within the Construction team, driving the vision for how we design and deliver exceptional user experiences.
· Collaborate with our existing UX lead (in the Water division) to lay the foundation for a unified, cross-product UX organization.
· Mentor future designers and help shape how our design culture, practices, and processes evolve.
· Advocate for the user at every level — from roadmap discussions to final release.
Measure What Matters
· Define and track UX success metrics such as adoption, task efficiency, and user satisfaction.
· Use analytics and user feedback to refine and optimize experiences after launch.
What You'll Bring:
· 6+ years of experience in UX design with a strong foundation in user research.
· A proven track record designing and delivering complex, data-driven SaaS or B2B products (experience in construction or field tech is a plus).
· Deep knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods and when to apply them.
· Strong communication and storytelling skills — you can bring insights and ideas to life for any audience.
· Expertise in tools like Figma, Miro, Mixpanel, Dovetail, Maze, Pendo etc.
· A proactive, collaborative approach — and excitement about shaping both product and team culture.
Bonus Skills
· Experience with field data and project management tools.
· Background in systems or service design.
· Familiarity with accessibility, design systems, or data visualization.
· Experience mentoring or leading designers in growing teams.
Why You’ll Love It Here
· Build the foundation. You’ll help define how UX works here — processes, practices, and culture.
· Shape the future. You’ll influence how an entire product suite evolves for the construction industry.
· Work with purpose. Our products empower professionals managing some of the most complex and critical projects out there.
· Grow with us. We’re investing in UX as a core pillar of our strategy — and this is your chance to be part of that story from the start.
