We are now looking for SCADA Experts (Junior & Senior) who can help us to continuously improve Volue’s ability to provide value to customers in line with the Volue mission.

This entails supporting our customers in operating their energy businesses more efficiently through expert services and continuous development of operational control systems (SCADA) and system communications. You will work alongside our skilled team in a rapidly evolving energy market, contributing to the Nordic and European electricity markets. 

What you will be doing to make a difference:

• Operate and optimize SCADA systems and communications

• Provide expert support and guidance to customers on SCADA services

• Continuously grow your skills and shape your role based on your strengths and interests

• Collaborate closely within a dynamic, cross-functional expert team focused on customer success

• Drive innovation and improvement in a rapidly evolving energy sector

What you need to succeed:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent

• Experience working with or using SCADA systems

• Solid understanding of common communication protocols such as IEC-104, ICCP, OPC UA, and MODBUS

• Hands-on experience with high-voltage (HV) switchgears

• Working knowledge of information systems and/or automation

• Familiarity with relay protection principles in power transmission and generation is a strong plus

• Strong problem-solving mindset with a precise and structured approach to work

• Great collaboration skills, service-mindedness, and flexibility

• Fluent English skills (spoken and written)

• Motivation to grow professionally and contribute to a shared team success

Additionally beneficial:

• Broader technical work experience, preferably in the energy or industrial sector

• Experience in data communication, automation, or related infrastructure

• Proven ability to independently manage and develop customer solutions

The position reports to our operational service lead and cooperates closely with our expert teams in Finland and across Volue locations.
