Volue PowerBot specializes in automation solutions for energy trading. As a certified Independent Software Vendor (ISV) at energy exchanges such as EPEX and Nord Pool, the company provides leading edge technologies for automating short-term trading on power exchanges and supports energy trading companies with efficient solutions for trade execution.
We are expanding our team in Gdańsk and are looking for a Trading Customer Support Consultant who will play a crucial role in enabling energy companies to set up and optimize their trading operations. What you will be doing to make a difference:
- Develop deep expertise in our trading software and solutions.
- Proactively engage with customers, understanding their trading workflows, technical requirements, and business needs.
- Provide functional and technical support and assistance to customers in terms of configuring, utilizing and optimizing our products to set up and improve trading performance, automation, and reliability.
- Apply your technical problem-solving skills by engaging in analysis, troubleshooting, and follow-up on technical issues to ensure smooth operations.
- Offer specialized training sessions and consulting services to traders, developers, and portfolio managers to help them maximize our solutions.
- Work closely with the Product Team to relay customer feedback, influencing product development and enhancements.
- Document best practices and contribute to an internal knowledge base for process improvements and scalability.
- Continuously improve internal processes within the PowerBot Consulting team.
What you need to succeed:
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field. Working knowledge of energy and/or trading domains or a strong interest to pursue a career in this field.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of IT systems. Ability to create basic automation or data analysis scripts in Python is a plus. Experience with log-based troubleshooting in platforms like Grafana is highly valued.
- Language Proficiency & Communication: Fluency in English. Proficiency in additional languages such as German is a plus. Good communication and presentation skills, and willingness to develop this further.
- Collaboration: Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. Commitment to work closely with customers in a supportive and consultative capacity.

This role is based in our Volue office in Gdańsk, Poland. You will be an integral part of our PowerBot Consulting and Support Team that is primarily based in Vienna, Austria.
