We are now looking for Consultants and Senior Consultants who can help us to continuously improve Volue’s ability to provide value to customers in line with the Volue mission.     
 
What you will be doing to make a difference: 

We are looking for a Senior Consultant with interest in helping electrical grid companies to succeed in their day to day operations, to join one of our Consultancy team in Aalborg or Skovlunde. Recent graduates or graduates with a few years of experience can also apply. The teams are working on delivery of Volue’s software for the electrical grid companies in Scandinavia. Typical tasks can be: 

• Developing and implementing next-generation digital tools for grid companies

• Providing advisory services related to our products

• Data conversion and migration

• Technical problem solving

• Installation and upgrades

• Customization and integration

It is important that you have an interest in technology and in delivering software for critical infrastructure. You are focused on quality and are constantly looking for improvements. Most important is that you are willing to learn and expand your knowledge.    
 

What you need to succeed: 

You are engaged in your tasks and take the initiative to further develop yourself and those you work with. You like to solve challenges, are solution oriented, curious about new technologies, see opportunities, and understand commercial needs. Furthermore, you are passionate about creating great customer experiences. You are a team player who enjoys creating value together with your colleagues. 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in GIS, geography, or a related field

• Experience or interest in GIS or network information systems is a plus

• Experience from grid companies, consultancy firms, software companies, or similar industries is an advantage

• Interest in technology and delivering software for critical infrastructure

• Knowledge or interest in programming e.g. Python, Javascript etc

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, proactive and solution-oriented

• Fluent in a Scandinavian language and excellent communication skills in English
