We are looking for a QA Engineer (full- or part-time, minimum 20h/week) to strengthen our quality assurance team and contribute to the development of a market-leading solution at the forefront of the green energy revolution. 

What you will be doing to make a difference:

• Maintain and expand automated test suites (primarily in Python).
• Execute manual software tests to ensure the stability and reliability of our trading platform.
• Analyse test results and document issues clearly for the development team.
• Create, revise, and maintain test cases and scenarios.
• Collaborate closely with our developers, product owners, and domain experts.

What you need to succeed:

• You have experience in software testing or scripting (e.g., Python, JavaScript) - or a background in computer science, business informatics, or a related field.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks or tools (e.g., pytest, Playwright, Selenium, etc.) is a plus.
• Willingness to learn about energy markets and trading software.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail
• Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
• Independent, proactive work style with a strong sense of responsibility.

The position reports to the Head of Development PowerBot and cooperates closely with the Software Development team. We are looking to hire for Volue office in Vienna. 

For this position (38.5 hours per week), the monthly minimum salary, as per the collective agreement (IT KV), is 3016 EUR gross (14x annually, for full-time). Your actual salary will be individually negotiated based on your qualifications and experience.
