We are now looking for an Associate/Junior Software Engineer who can join our team of backend engineers, who are responsible for our cloud infrastructure and core services for serving timeseries data at cloud scale.

What you will be doing to make a difference:

• You develop and maintain scalable code used internally and externally for working with our timeseries data for the energy market.

• You develop and maintain our infrastructure and platform services used by the other internal product teams.
• You will work closely with colleagues from the same team and other disciplines -such as data science and product management - to make internal tools and services which enable them to make prediction models efficiently and securely.

What you need to succeed:

• Understanding of programming and system development fundamentals.
• Experience with software development, preferably Python or Java.
• Experience with - or willingness to learn - GCP, Airflow, CI/CD, Kubernetes and Terraform.
• Relevant education on a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field, preferably with some relevant work experience via part-time positions or summer internships.
• Ability to work together in small groups, giving and receiving constructive feedback.
• Focus on delivering high quality, well-documented and well-tested code.
